HELP! Thursday, May 15, 2008

It seems that our floating dock has split apart and currently part of it is adrift. We need some help this Saturday morning to try to figure out how to address this immediate problem. Once that is done, we will need to determine the best course of action for a permanent fix. No boats can be taken out with the dock in its present condition.

Eight additional ertwhile rowers also attended and received excellent coaching from elite coaches, Charlotte Hollings and John Dunn. Saturday Clean Up a Huge Success! Saturday, June 24, 2006
|
Thanks to the clean up/maintenance team led by Jim Frances, our boathouse and surrounding area are looking "fabulous, dahling." H powerwashed the floating dock while Jim, Sharon, Stacy and Dan did yeoman service trimming the trees that were interfering with our boats, edging the walkway, general cleanup, etc. H is going to check into getting a sign from the city advertising that VRC is maintaining that stretch of property. Thanks for Jim for supplying, juice and muffins to energize us. All this work was done after we had a good row.
